       LITTLE TOBESOFKEE CREEK RANCH

 

Little Tobesofkee Creek Ranch is both a fly-in community, with a beautiful 3000' turf airstrip, and horse ranch, with lush pasture, hay fields, and bridle paths with ample area for your riding pleasure.  We have trails on the banks of two creeks meandering through forest of old, large red oak, white oak, hickory, black gum, sweet gum, popular, pine and others.

An old farm fish pond is currently being restored and restocked, and a second pond was recently completed to provide additional fishing.  Deer Trail Golf and Country Club is just upstream from Little Tobesofkee.  Redbone Farms Hunting Preserve, one of Georgia's older quail preserve, adjoins little Tobesofkee.  In addition to quail hunting, Redbone offers a variety of  hunting activities including: dove shoots, duck, and turkey hunting.

Floyd and Twila Moye, the owners and devleopers of Little Tobesofkee Creek Ranch, also own the Redbone quail preserve.  They are not professional developers.  They do have a deep and abiding love for the land, having rasied their three children there and now have a great joy in watching three of their grandchildren grow up there.  Floyd was not only born on the land now known as  Little Tobesofkee Creek Ranch, many of his forebears were also, some of which are buried in a small, family cemetery located and buried there prior to the Civil War.

Although the Moyes are committed to developing a unique fly-in/equestrian community, they are just as determined to keep a large portion of the land open, thereby retaining our rural atmosphere while being convient to Atlanta's Hartsfield Int'l Airport, and the other attractions of the big city of Atlanta.
